Dorrie Brunton Passes

Longtime owner and harness racing fan Dorrie Brunton of Milton, Ont. passed away peacefully following a lengthy illness on Sunday, September 19, 2010 at

Mississauga's Credit Valley Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Alexander Brunton, loving mother of Doreen Lincoln (Robert), Alex Brunton and Laurie Brunton. Dorrie will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Vanessa Koloff (Steve), Sabrina Lincoln, Rebecca, Deirdre, Thomas, Daniel and her great-grandchild Mackenzie Koloff.

Brunton was associated with such notable horses as 2010's winningest trotter Mr Invincible, Ardor Lucky, Village Hero and Dante Hall among others.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home, 114 Main St., Milton, 905-878-4452, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Fairview Cemetery in Acton.
