HRNB Elects New Directors, President

Horse Racing New Brunswick held its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, September 15 in Fredericton

.

There were 24 voting delegates representing the eight associations that form the membership of HRNB. Three vacancies were filled on the twelve seat Board of Directors. Mitchell Downey replaced Ross Galbraith as the Saint John Horsemen Association representative; Dawn Bremner will now sit as the New Brunswick Standardbred Owners And Breeders Association representative, replacing Glen McEwen; and Bob Roach was elected to the Clientele seat on the board replacing Reg Petitpas. Horse Racing New Brunswick thanks the three parting directors for all their support and contributions to our organization.

Bob Roach was elected President of the organization, taking over from Jamie Hachey who fulfilled his term as president. The organization will continue to follow the strategic plan approved at the founding meeting in 2008, as many goals and priorities remain the same. Horse Racing New Brunswick looks forward to a successful fall/winter season, and thanks all those in the industry for all their support.
