As the return to the racetrack for qualifiers at Fraser Downs is slated for Friday morning, a date for a return to live harness racing later this month is now confirmed.
Nigel Holmes, executive director with Harness Racing B.C. told Trot Insider that pari-mutuel racing is scheduled to start Wednesday, September 30, 2020 with a 5:00 p.m. (PST) first race post time. Fraser's next card will be on Friday, October 2, 2020 with first post of 8:00 p.m. (PST).
Holmes added that racing at Fraser Downs will continue through to December 18, 2020 with two cards per week; Wednesdays will continue to feature a 5:00 p.m. (PST) first post with Fridays scheduled to start at 8:00 p.m. (PST). In addition, there will be a special Boxing Day card on Saturday, Dec. 26, 2020 with a 1:00 p.m. (PST) first post.
