After a six-month break, harness racing is set to return to British Columbia's Fraser Downs in early October.
The Surrey, B.C. oval will race two days per week for the remainder of 2016 starting with the meet opener on Thursday, Oct. 6. Fraser will race on Thursdays and Fridays for the first four weeks of the meet before switching to a Sunday-Friday schedule on October 30.
In preparation for the racing season, Fraser will be holding two qualifying sessions. The first day of qualifiers will be Thursday, Sept. 22, with entries due on Tuesday, Sept 20. A second set of qualifiers will go on Sept. 29 with entries due on the Sept. 27.
