On Saturday, September 20, Racing Under Saddle Ontario and Flamboro Downs will present the Flamboro Horse Festival, which will showcase a variety of equine breeds and disciplines during a night of harness racing.
One of the disciplines on display on September 20 will be a roping demonstration, as horse and rider will be searching for a loose calf or audience member to catch.
The ‘spins and slides’ of a reining demo is also scheduled, and, according to a preview video of the event, a Mini Horse race will also take place.
Flamboro is also scheduled to be offering a card of live harness racing on Saturday, and RUS Ontario has announced that racing under saddle will be taking place as well.
