Tioga Downs has moved its first-race post time for its closing night (Saturday, September 15) to 6:00 p.m.
The move has come in order to accommodate room for 13 races and a fireworks display immediately following.
“We had a large number of horses drop in the box for closing night and to accommodate the horsemen and help get more horses raced we worked with the STHHA to move post time to 6:00 p.m.," said Tioga Downs VP of Racing and Simulcast Jason Settlemoir. "This will allow our horsemen racing at Tioga Downs to get their horses raced and still allow proper time to have our fireworks show for our fans following live racing."
