Middlesex Horse Succumbs To West Nile

This past Thursday (Sept. 6), the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture Food and Rural Affairs received confirmation of the first case of equine West Nile Virus infection in 2018 in Middlesex County.

The five-year-old unvaccinated gelding developed acute and severe neurological signs and was euthanized.
