Officials with Kawartha Downs would like to remind horsepeople that schooling and training is not permitted on race nights (Saturdays). Training is available most weeks on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Due to the NASCAR race at Kawartha Downs on September 19, the racetrack will be closed for training from September 14 to 22.
Horsepeople will be welcome to train at Kawartha on Sunday, September 13 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Training will resume Wednesday, September 23 and will also be available Thursday and Friday that week, all 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
