Trot Insider has learned that former Truro Raceway Program Printer, Race Secretary and Classifier Lois Fielding passed away Tuesday, August 30 in Truro, NS at Colchester Regional Hospital. She was 79
.
Lois is survived by four children, Timothy (Beverley), Ronald (Nelson), Kimberlea (John), Jeffrey (Stephanie), as well as nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 2 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. with memorial service on Saturday, September 3 at 1:00 p.m. both in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow Street, Truro. Interment in Bible Hill Cemetery.
It has been requested that there be family flowers only, but donations in her memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of choice.
