Due to a lack of potential entries for the planned August 17 race date at Fredericton Raceway, Horse Racing New Brunswick has postponed the date until later in the season.
Many New Brunswick horsemen have travelled to Prince Edward Island to race during the Gold Cup and Saucer week.
The next race day in New Brunswick will take place on August 24 at Exhibition Park Raceway and will feature the Maritimer Stake for three-year-old pacing fillies.
