The 2017 BCAP and SBOANJ scholarships winners were invited to the Meadowlands Racetrack with their families on Saturday, July 29 to receive their awards.
The scholarships are awarded based on academic excellence, community service, financial need and affiliation with the New Jersey Standardbred industry.
This year’s recipients were Travis Ceppaluni of Jackson, NJ and Tyler Miller of Millstone Twp., NJ. Each student received a $4,000 cheque and a plaque from the SBOANJ and BCAP associations.
Congratulations to the winners and their families – we wish them success in their future academic careers.
