Following a short delay, Yonkers Raceway’s Friday night card began despite transmission difficulties.
First post was initially rescheduled from 7:10 p.m. to 7:20 p.m., beginning without the resumption of satellite transmission. The first two of 12 races were completed before the transmission problems with Yonkers Raceway’s signal were corrected.
Yonkers Raceway apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates everyone’s patience and cooperation.
A reminder that tonight's Pick 5 has a double-carryover of $11,305.67 (50-cent base wager on races five through nine).
