One of harness racing’s biggest race days of the season is set for Saturday (August 7) at The Meadowlands in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and Canada is well-represented with connections competing throughout the stakes-stacked Hambletonian program.
The following list highlights the current Canadian-based drivers, trainers, owners, breeders and/or sires represented in stakes action on Hambletonian Day.
The program also includes former Canadian-based trainers and drivers Jim Campbell, Nik Drennan, Daniel Dube, Yannick Gingras, Mark MacDonald and Scott Zeron along with stakes contenders co-owned by Herb Liverman and Robert Leblanc now residing in the U.S.
