Officials with the Standardbred Retirement Foundation have announced the details of upcoming meet and greet events that will be taking place at the organization’s New Jersey and Kentucky locations.
The meet and greets will take place on Friday, September 12 from 4 - 8 p.m. Officials are encouraging everyone to attend, even if adoption is not in their plans. The SRF is excited to present a wonderful selection of under saddle, ready-to-go horses.
The events are open to the public and will give visitors the opportunity to interact with and observe the friendly and versatile Standardbred breed. Staff will be available to answer questions regarding the organization, its upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to make a difference through horse sponsorship and adoptions.
Laurette Simanski-Snook, CIT, from NJ Equine Imaging/ThermScan Diagnostics, LLC will be the special guest at SRF’s New Jersey location. She will be on hand performing ThermScan demonstrations.
The New Jersey location is at 42 Arneytown-Hornerstown Road in Cream Ridge, while the Kentucky location is at Chasing the Sun Stables, located at 2111 Wilson Run Road in Wallingford.
