Patti McGillivary, former trainer and longtime member of Standardbred Canada, passed away suddenly on July 31 at the age of 43
.
McGillivary is survived by her mother Pat, father Jack and brothers Andrew and J. She is the beloved wife of Hank; dear mother of Amber (Dan) and Blain; proud grandmother of Emma and Brody; sister of Jody, Sheryl and Lindsay. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and extended family members.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Andrew L. Hodges Funeral Home, 47 Wellington St. South, St. Marys (519-284- 2820), on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 2 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to The Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
