Meadows Dark Tues.; Fall/Winter Sched. Set

The Meadows has announced that it will not offer live racing Tuesday, August 31 due to an on-site concert. Simulcasting at the track and its satellite facilities will be

uninterrupted and the casino will remain open.

The track has announced its live racing schedule for the balance of the year, generally featuring four live cards per week.

First-race post time each Monday, Tuesday and Friday will be 12:55 p.m., with Wednesday cards beginning at 6:55 p.m., except for December 22, when racing will begin at 12:55 p.m.

The track will conduct an added live card on Thursday, September 9 with a first-race post time of 12:55 p.m.

No live racing will be offered Thanksgiving week or the week following Christmas.

The schedule also includes two special Saturday cards. On September 4, the track will present the '$1 Million Pennsylvania Harness Championships,' which will feature all four $200,000 Pennsylvania Sires Stakes sophomore finals, as well as a $50,000 consolation for each division. On October 16, the Meadows will host the Pennsylvania Fairs Finals for all eight divisions of two and three-year-olds. First post both Saturdays is 12:55 p.m.
