Prentice, who was well known in the Hamilton area and especially at Flamboro Downs, passed away peacefully at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre.

Prentice was stabled and raced at Flamboro Downs for years before relocating to the Peterborough area.

Just a few of the successful and well-known horses that Prentice raced were the Bounty Blue Chip, a son of Albatross that won 34 career races, and Boggs Hanover, a son of Tyler B.
