The Xtreme Racing won’t be limited to the harness horses on Saturday, September 1at Georgian Downs. Aside from the usual unique race distances, Xtreme Fan night will also feature some Xtreme miniature horse races, a horseless sulky pull and a mascot race in between the pari-mutuel events.

For the past three years, the miniature horses have raced in a non-wagering event at Xtreme Horsepower and provided loads of entertainment for the crowd on hand, especially the kids. The minis have been invited back for Xtreme Fan Night to compete in a five-eighths-mile event. Following the one-lap race, there will be a public 'meet and greet' with the minis and their drivers in the area north of the paddock.

Trainers and drivers grab your runners and get training for the Xtreme Horseless Sulky Pull, the Xtreme race for people!

The Sulky Pull will be contested at a distance of 1/16th of a mile with one person riding in the sulky and one person pulling. Georgian Downs will make a $500 donation to the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society in the name of the winning team.
