The Ontario Harness Horse Association wishes to notify Belleville area members that purse funds held in trust by Rideau Carleton Raceway for Belleville area horsepeople have been requested
for use by the Quinte Exhibition and Raceway.
According to documentation received this afternoon the Executive Director of the ORC is prepared to approve the use of $20,000 from funds held in trust for the purpose of purse money for the September 6, 2009 live harness racing to be conducted at the Quinte Exhibition.
According to an earlier press release the NCRHHA has called a members only meeting for August 26th 2009 at the Hillcrest Community Centre, located at 71 Centre Street in Belleville, Ont. where “it will only be discussing the issue of 'fair racing' at the Quinte Exhibition and Raceway.”
