‘Kinnder’ Looks To Be ‘Dangerous’

Fresh off of its big Prix D’Ete card this past Sunday, live racing at Hippodrome 3R will continue tonight (Tuesday, August 23) with more stakes action.

The fourth and final preliminary round of the Future Stars Series for two-year-old colt and filly trotters will take place during the program. After Tonight’s two divisions, the top eight point earners for each gender will return for the Super Sunday Finals, which will take place on September 4. That program will feature four $55,000 finals for the two-year-olds and four $65,000 finals for the three-year-olds.

Kinnder Dangerous is the horse to beat in the colt division. With Real Lucky Day not in the box, Kinnder Dangerous headlines the field and sports one win and two second-place finishes.

The gelded son of Northern Escort will start from Post 3 for driver Justin Filion and trainer Denitza Petrova. He should have it easy against only three rivals in the non-wagering race that will take place at 6:45 p.m. before the first pari-mutuel race.

The fillies will do battle between Race 5 and Race 6 on the pari-mutuel program. Joyce Lavec looms the strong horse, as she has won two of her three starts this season, both in the Future Stars series.

Joyce Lavec will start from Post 5 for driver Pascal Berube and trainer Dany Fontaine and will face off against rivals Taurus P V (Post 2) and Muscle Do (Post 1).
