Two sons of Muscle Hill who have won all three of their Pennsylvania Sire Stakes preliminaries look to complete a sweep of the prelims, as the fourth and final preliminary of the Sire Stakes for two-year-old trotting colts goes postward in three divisions during the Sunday card at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono.

Prospect Hill, who is out of the mare Louise Kemp, actually has a four-race stakes win streak going, as he won a Pennsylvania All-Stars event here at Pocono prior to his three Sire Stakes triumphs.

Two obstacles for Prospect Hill to overcome for the wife/husband team of trainer Julie and driver Andy Miller are the outside post six and the presence of Green Manalishi S, making his first Sire Stakes start but not uncredentialed, showing a PA All-Stars win and a second in the Peter Haughton Final from the outside post ten.

Demon Onthe Hill was treated more kindly in the positional draw, as he will begin from post two for driver Brian Sears and trainer Marcus Melander. Demon Onthe Hill, out of the mare Sabrina Hall, faces a worthy challenger in Osterc, who will be starting from just outside him after taking his last two starts in the Sire Stakes.

The other Sunday Sire Stakes section has previous PaSS winners White Tiger and Mass Fortune K, plus two horses who won in the All-Stars competition earlier here, Fashion Possessed and Gerry.

On Monday night at Pocono, there will be six divisions of the final preliminary of the Stallion Series competition for this group. No horse has won more than two of the three prelims to date; one of the Stallion Series divisions features two of them, Cantab Ed and Crossfit, taking on Kings Country, who won his only Stallion Series start, and Ntl Guard Hanover, a winner in the third prelim, in the most competitive of the groupings.

After these races, the point standings will be completed, and those who are to go to The Meadows on Saturday, September 1 for Sire Stakes Championship Day, and those who are to go to Harrah’s Philadelphia on Monday, September 3 for Stallion Series Championship Day, will have earned their eligibility rankings.
