Organizers have announced details for the 19th annual Walltyme Stables Golf Tournament, which will take place Wednesday, August 3
.
The tournament will take place at the Caradoc Sands Golf Club in Strathroy, Ont. As usual, net proceeds from the tournament will be donated with the goal of harness horsemen helping harness horsemen.
Breakfast will be served at 9:00 a.m. There will be a shotgun start for the golf at 11:30 a.m. There will be a Texas Scramble format with a pair of four-person teams on each tee.
There will be a hole-in-one contest, closest-to-the-pin contests on par-threes, and prizes for both men and women's longest drives. The winning foursome will also receive $500, and there will also be a $500 random draw.
Tickets are $125 per person and include green fees, carts, breakfast, a burger on the course and dinner, which will feature steak and trimmings. Tickets for dinner only are $35 per person.
Karaoke and dancing will be taking place on site after dinner.
