The Woodstock Driving Club has announced that it will be adding funds to the purses for the single card of racing set for Friday, August 2.
An additional $300 per race will be added to each purse to entice more participants to enter.
Due to the lack of government funding, Horse Racing New Brunswick had to reduce the provincial racing schedule, resulting in Connell Park only racing once rather than the normal three dates.
HRNB and Woodstock Driving Club encourage all participants to take part.
The draw is set for Tuesday, July 30 at 9:00 a.m.
