Officials at Rideau Carleton Raceway would like to remind all horsepeople and fans that starting after the races on Monday, August 2 to Sunday, August 8 at 2:00 p.m., the main track at RCR will be closed due to the
'2010 Capital Hoe-Down.'
Fans and horsepeople are reminded that there is no live racing from Thursday, August 5 to Saturday, August 7. Horsepeople are also reminded there will be no qualifiers this week.
The Rideau Carleton race office will be closed on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday but will re-open Thursday at 8:00 a.m. The next draw will be held on Thursday (double draw) for the Sunday, August 8 and Monday, August 9 program.
Rideau Carleton Raceway would also like to remind everyone that the three Monday cards in August have a first-race post time of 6:30 p.m., as opposed to the 4:30 p.m. first-race post times for Mondays in July.
