The Meadowlands Summer Mixed Sale is primed to get underway this Sunday (July 27) at noon in the track’s race paddock. There are 104 horses set to sell in the main catalogue, and another 41 have been entered into the sale supplement.
The supplement catalogue and updated past performances – which includes horses in both the main catalogue and supplement – are available on the Tattersalls website (tattersallsredmile.com) and on the Equineline sale catalogue app for iPad users. The racelines have been updated with performances through July 20.
“I had expected a large number of late arrivals for this sale, and the supplement bore that out,” said sale manager David Reid. “What’s so satisfying is not only the overall quality, but the fact that so many horses are racing with success right this very minute, at all levels and at so many tracks.”
Reid said that more than 100 of the horses in the sale have raced in just the past week, or are in-to-go this weekend.
The supplement includes a reduction from Erv Miller & Partners and eight two-year-olds from Fashion Farms, with a pair of those already placed in Pennsylvania Sire Stakes action.
“In fact, we have 54 two-year-olds in the sale, and there are a number of them that are stakes winners or have been competitive in stakes action,” Reid said.
In addition to being on the Tattersalls website, the printed supplement catalogue and updated past performances booklet will be shipped to major tracks before the weekend.
