Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment will host its fourth annual Seafood Fest on Saturday, July 29, beginning at 6 p.m.
Pink, the tiered dining room with perfect views of the live racing action, will feature a special $39.95 seafood buffet featuring pan-seared gulf shrimp, Maryland Blue Crab Pasta, Tuna Tartar and steamed Long Island clams and mussels. For an additional $10, seafood fans can order a 1 1/4 lb freshly steamed Maine lobster. Reservations are strongly recommended. To reserve a table, call 201-THE-BIG-M (201-843-2446).
Fans looking for more casual dining can enjoy fresh seafood in The Backyard. Seafood lovers can indulge in a raw bar complete with clams and oysters, as well as a variety of food trucks including Tachoholics, Off the Hook Food Truck, Empanada Guy, Carnival Concessions, Surf & Turf Truck, The Angry Crab, Hannah’s Meatballs, Mobile Mardi Gras, Jersey Girl Smoothie & Star of the Seafood . Each truck will offer different seafood dishes with plenty of options to choose from. The fresh raw bar is also available on Victory Terrace, a rooftop terrace with lounge furniture, NYC skyline views and a cocktail bar.
While indulging in great seafood, guests can watch live harness racing starting at 7:15 p.m. Plus, on the racetrack, watch and wager on the eliminations for $500,000 Hambletonian Oaks.

Guests can enter the Shrimp Peel & Eat Competition to have the chance to win the $500 Grand Prize. Ten lucky contestants will have two minutes to peel and eat as many cooked shrimp as they can. The winner receives $500 with $250 for second-place and $100 for third.
