Island Jazzystar, along with a tough field of challengers, will face off in the Saturday night feature at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park

Post time for the first race is set for 7 p.m., and customers are reminded they will be available to watch and wager on the action from Charlottetown at Red Shores Summerside.
Island Jazzystar, with driver Corey MacPherson, is the morning line favourite but race analysts admit this field is too close to call. The Mitchell Tierney trainee won by an impressive 10-length margin in his last start, race timed in 1:56.2, but has to step up and tackle top guns such as Mchales Gravy and C L Eighty. Also lining up in the featured event will be San Marco Hanover, Largo Hall and BJ Cruiser
Gold Cup & Saucer Seats Go On Sale
Some major announcements will take place Saturday night at the track regarding qualifying sessions for the right to purchase Gold Cup & Saucer seats in the trackside patio and Top of the Park. Customers will be able to qualify when they purchase a trackpack, Play4 or Super Pack. Ballots will also be handed out when patrons spend $10 or more on one purchase on the live racing product.
The Grandstand seats for Gold Cup night go on sale Monday July 5 at 11 a.m. in the gift shop at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park. The cost is $40 dollars (tax included) with a limit of four per person. Purchases can also be made at (902) 629-6636 beginning at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 5.
