In addition to seven divisions of the Pennsylvania Stallion Series, Friday’s card at the Meadows offers a carryover of $11,117.49 in the Pick 5, which spans Races 10 to 14.
The potential reward is great, but the handicapping will be challenging, as the Pick 5 includes four nine-horse fields and one field of eight (before any scratches). The wager kicks off with an especially intriguing race pitting eight maiden two-year-old colts and geldings; no fewer than five appear poised to notch that initial victory.
First post is 6:55 p.m. The Meadows also will kick off Adios Week on Friday with the finals of the Miss Adios Contest, a perennial fan favourite.
