Officials with Dresden Raceway have announced that the track will be hosting Kid’s Day this Sunday (July 19).
One hundred and forty years ago, Dresden started as a place that families would gather after church on Sundays for family picnics and to see who had the fastest horses. Children would look forward to Sunday afternoons when they could play with their friends and enjoy a lot of games.
Dresden Raceway will re-live those days this Sunday on Kid’s Day.
Via release, the track has announced that there will be clowns, face-painting and balloon animals at the track on Sunday.
The track will also offer the usual games, giveaways and contests for patrons, including a 10-dash card of harness racing.
First-race post time is 1:30 p.m.
