It has been announced that the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, the symbol of quality and tradition for Anheuser-Busch since 1933, will be housed in the stables at Vernon Downs from Monday, July 20 through Sunday, July 26.
In addition, the Budweiser Clydesdales and the eight-horse hitch will be harnessed and hitched to the famous red beer wagon, which will be housed under the canopy at Vernon Downs for a meet and greet on Sunday, July 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. in conjunction with the announcement of Vernon’s ‘Drive the Hitch’ contest winner. Vernon Downs is partnering with Tri Valley Beverage to make the event possible.
The day’s events will also include a full slate of live horse racing, beginning at 1:15 p.m.
