Pleaseletmeknow won the fastest elimination (1:54.1) but got saddled with post position seven in the final, nearly mirroring his stablemate American Courage, who will leave from the ten-hole in Saturday night's Meadowlands Pace final. Matt Kakaley has the call on the Travis Alexander-trained American Ideal gelding for owner/breeder Fiddlers Creek Stables LLC.
Second elimination winner (1:56) Gone Before Dawn had even worse fortune than Pleaseletmeknow, as he wound up with post eight. Jason Bartlett is listed to drive Gone Before Dawn, a colt from the first crop of Huntsville. He is co-owned by trainer Andrew Harris in partnership with Bowie Racing LLC and was bred by Steve Jones.
Letmecallyouback had the best result in the draw of the elimination winners, landing post position five for Joe and Jenn Bongiorno. A 1:55.3 victor in his elimination, Letmecallyouback is a Huntsville gelding owned by Joe Di Scala, Jr., Pit Bull Stable LLC and Patrick O'Brien. He was bred by 30 Plus Stable and was purchased for $42,000 at last year's Lexington Selected Yearling Sale.
