On Tuesday evening (July 10), Red Shores conducted the open draw for this Saturday’s (July 14) $25,000 final of the Governor’s Plate, presented by Township Chevrolet Buick GMC, which will be the main attraction during Summerside Raceway’s live program.
Euchred drew the coveted Post 1.
Adam Merner, who drove the son of Shadow Play to a 1:54 victory in the first of the Governor's Plate elimination this past weekend, now has the inside track to work with for this Saturday's lucrative final.
Czar Seelster, who captured the second elimination, drew Post 2. Kenny Arsenault drove the Todd Weatherbee-trained pacer in his elimination and also stopped the clock in 1:54.
