With the announcement by the province of Ontario of the province entering Stage 3 of its recovery plan, Hanover Raceway is pleased to announce an increase to their fan capacity of up to 635 fans on-site, beginning with the July 17 card of harness racing.

The timing couldn't be better, with the OLG Ontario Women's Driving Championship event happening on Saturday, July 17, which will now be able to have a robust crowd in attendance.

"We're very pleased to be able to have this increased capacity and welcome as many fans back live to the track as we can. We're very excited about our upcoming race cards, which includes the Dream of Glory eliminations on July 24th and final on July 31st. We're looking forward to hearing the sounds of happy fans enjoying our product," said Hanover Raceway General Manager Steve Fitzsimmons.

Fans can register in advance for their spot on the Raceway's website with the registration opening Monday (July 12) at 9:00 a.m. for next week's card.

The registration is still currently required under the stage three plan, but the Raceway will do in-person registrations for a limited number of fans on race day. Those fans will undergo the COVID Pre-Screening to be admitted.

For more information on all terms and conditions of attendance, visit the Raceway's website or call the office at 519-364-2860.
