Officials with Grand River Raceway have released a notice to horsepeople in regard to schoolers, qualifiers and training at the track.
Effective June 10, 2020, Grand River Raceway wishes to advise all horsepeople of the following regarding schoolers/training:

Entries for qualifiers will continue to be taken at the Clinton race office (please enter by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday).

Entries for schoolers and for those wishing to train at GRR will be taken by Sue Ellis at Grand River Raceway at 519-846-5455 (Ext. 221) on either Tuesday or Wednesday between the hours of 1 and 4 p.m. You must register to either school or train (You are not allowed to just show up. No exceptions.).

The stable gate will open at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday and the barn will close at 6:30 p.m.

We will continue to follow our COVID-19 protocols, which include wearing masks, to practice our social distancing, washing and sanitizing of hands.

Temperature checks will continue at the stable gate.

We will have a 50-horse maximum in the barn, and preference will be given to those that have entered to qualify, those who have entered to school, and then those who have called and booked a spot for training.
