Harness racing participants and fans worldwide will again be able to watch the two-year-old races and qualifiers held at Gaitway Farm and Magical Acres throughout June as The First Mile, presented by onGait and produced by 412 Communications, kicks off its fourth season on Monday, June 10.
The First Mile will present live full-card coverage from Gaitway Farm on Monday, June 10, and Thursdays, June 20 and 27; and from Magical Acres on Wednesdays, June 12, 19 and 26, streaming in full high definition. Harness racing media veteran and series producer James Witherite will again serve as lead commentator, and will be joined on air by a wide range of expert analysts and horsepeople throughout the month-long series.
Over its first three seasons, The First Mile has garnered over 38,000 views, with viewership consisting of harness racing participants and fans across North America, Europe and Australasia.
The First Mile will begin 15 minutes before each day's scheduled post time and will be available on YouTube as well as the Standardbred Canada website.
