Following the track's annual brief hiatus coming into June, Yonkers Raceway has announced that racing — set to resume Monday (June 7) and continue Tuesday (June 8) — has been cancelled.
Per a tweet from the Standardbred Owners Association of New York, the Yonkers' race office said the cancellation of the Monday and Tuesday cards was "due to continuing work to improve track conditions." They also said racing will resume on Wednesday (June 9) and that entries for Friday's (June 11) card are due by 3 p.m. (EDT) Monday (June 7). Entries for the Monday, June 14 card will close Tuesday (June 8) at 9 a.m. (EDT).
