Yonkers Raceway’ Pick 5 guarantee goes into effect Monday night (June 10th).
As part of the U.S. Trotting Association’s Strategic Wagering Program and with the approval of the New York State Gaming Commission, a minimum $10,000 pot is available every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening.
Should the sequence go unhit, the current ‘instant guarantee’ remains leading to the next racing program.
The Pick 5 is a 50-cent base wager comprising either Races 6 through 10 (10-race card) or 7 through 11 (more than 10-race card). It has no consolation payoff, hence the shot at an ‘instant guarantee”.
