Gillis Appointed ASHA Executive Director

Trot Insider has learned that ASHA's racing manager, Fred Gillis, is assuming the responsibilities of the association's executive director position effective immediately

Outgoing executive director David Kincade has decided to further his education by pursing his Ph.D. in Political Science.

Gillis moves into the role after spending one year as the association’s racing manager.

“We’re fortunate to have had David and Fred work together this past year and appreciate the excellent job performed by each on behalf of ASHA,” said ASHA president, Neil Malloch. “We will miss David but understand his decision to follow his dream and work towards his Ph.D. We are confident that with Fred's experience and knowledge of our industry he will do an excellent job as he takes over this important position.”
