On Thursday, June 6, the Ontario Racing Commission released its lengthy ruling into the appeal of owner/trainer Jamie Wilson.
Wilson was appealing multiple fines and suspensions stemming from positive tests from Wilson's horses East Meadow, Abigail Eden and Wedding Bell Blues.
The ORC has ruled that, in totality, Wilson's penalty will consists of:
- A $5,000 fine;
- A one-year suspension (six months time already served and serving until June 6, 2013, then six months conditional stay);
- And, upon reinstatement of licence, two years probation upon five conditions.
