The 2021 Atlantic Sires Stakes (ATSS) race season gets underway on Friday evening (July 2) at Truro Raceway as the three-year-old pacing fillies make their seasonal debut.
Three "A" divisions of fillies will each race for a purse of $7,080.
Last season's two-year-old filly Atlantic Breeders Crown Champion Tobins Brownie, driven by David Dowling, is slated to go in Race 8 as five fillies align behind the gate. The other two divisions are Race 6 and Race 10 on the card.
The lone "B" division event is the third race of the evening and has seven fillies squaring off for a purse of $3,000.
Points earned in each Atlantic Sires Stakes "A" division and trot event go towards securing a coveted spot in the season-ending Atlantic Breeders Crown Championships.
Post time is 5:00 p.m. (ADT) and Covid Protocols will be in place.
