The sale roster, catalogue and past performances booklet for the Meadowlands Summer Mixed Sale are now available on the Tattersalls Sales Co. website, tattersallsredmile.com.
The catalog and racelines are also available for iPad users on the Equineline Sales Catalog app.
Held on the weekend of the Meadowlands Pace on Sunday, July 15, the sale will get underway at noon in the track’s race paddock.
The sale, comprised entirely of horses of racing age, has more than 120 in the main catalog, including 21 two-year-olds. “This is the kind of sale where buyers can roll up their sleeves, do their homework, and come away with a perfect horse for wherever they race,” said sale manager David Reid.
Reid noted that 16 horses won their last starts on the weekend right before the catalog was published, June 22-25, and that the vast majority in the sale will race right up to auction time.
“There’s literally something for everyone, and for those looking for very high-class racehorses we have a number racing in stakes and top condition races, like D Bomb, Blatantly Best, Fool Me Once and the fast trotter Tuonoblu Rex, to mention just a few,” Reid said.
“One thing that’s important to point out is that we have a number of fillies in the sale with standout commercial pedigrees, and they’re by sires like Muscle Hill and Somebeachsomewhere. Their buyers will get a two-in-one package, a racehorse and potentially outstanding future broodmare,” he added.
Supplemental entries to the Summer Mixed will be accepted through Friday, July 6.
