Tioga Downs will welcome two divisions of the New York Sire Stakes for two-year-old trotting colts and geldings on Sunday (June 30). Both divisions will race for a purse of $55,000.

In the first division, the top morning line choice at 3-1 is Saylor (Jim Marohn Jr), a Chapter Seven-Creme De Cocoa colt who races for owner-trainer D.R. Ackerman. The second choice at 7-2 is Hobbs (Tyler Buter), a Credit Winner-Cruella De Ville gelding owned by Runthetable Stables and trained by Jim Campbell. The third choice at 4-1 is Barn Holden (Jim Meittinis), a Conway Hall-Barn Babe colt owned by the Purple Haze Stables and the Out In The Country Stable in partnership with Nancy and trainer Steven Pratt.

In the second division, the 9-5 morning-line favourite is the Purple Haze Stables' Chaptiama. Trainer Trond Smedshammer is listed to drive the Chapter Seven–Crediama colt. A pair of Ake Svanstedt trainees in Third Shift (4-1) and Take The Credit (6-1) will look to topple Chaptiama. Third Shift, a Chapter Seven-Overnight colt, is owned by Melby Gard Inc. and will be driven by Svanstedt, while Andy Miller will drive Credit Winner-Love Tactics colt Take The Credit for Brixton Medical Inc.

The 15-race card on Sunday starts at 1 p.m.
