The Ontario Harness Horse Association has announced that it has called a meeting for its District 6 members and all OHHA members.
Between May 16 and June 28 of this year, membership meetings were held in 10 of the 11 OHHA districts.
The purpose of this upcoming meeting is twofold:
- To summarize for District 6 OHHA members the discussions and resulting tentative initiatives from the previous meetings, and
- To conduct a general membership vote on a proposed increase of OHHA dues
OHHA feels confident that most, if not all, members who are active in the harness racing industry realize the impact racing without the slots-at-racetracks program will have. OHHA, therefore, is strongly urging all concerned members to attend this meeting in order to have your opinion heard and to cast your vote.
