Security will be heightened at the border and rolling road closures to and from Lester B. Pearson International Airport between June 24 and 27 should be expected and will cause significant traffic delays. Passengers are advised to allow for extra time to reach their destinations.
Canada’s Ministry of Transportation has issued a Traffic Bulletin stating that closures and restrictions in and around Toronto resulting in significant delays on major highways such as the 427, 401, Queen Elizabeth Way, Gardiner Expressway, the Don Valley Parkway and connecting arterial roads should be expected from Thursday, June 24 to Sunday, June 27.
