Nicole Schnurr Joins OSAS

The Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society has hired Nicole Schnurr as Placement Co-ordinator

for the organization.

A graduate of the University of Guelph with a degree in Biological Science, Nicole has a strong background in the Standardbred world. She’s worked as an instructor at the OHHA Youth Camps, for Ron Waples as a groom and assistant trainer in addition to helping various farms with sales prep at yearling sales. She’s also an experienced rider who has the skills required to train retired Standardbreds to ride.

Nicole begins working with OSAS Co-ordinator Joanne Colville in the near future.

OSAS has also revamped their board of directors in recent months. The current board consists of:
