Captain Crunch has vaulted back to the top spot in Week 8 of Dave Little's "Road to the Crawford Farms Meadowlands Pace" after his stunning 1:47.2 score in the Pepsi North America Cup.
Captain Crunch, who added Canada's sophomore pacing classic to his resume after capping his two-year-old season with wins in the Breeders Crown and Governor's Cup, will forgo the upcoming Max Hempt Memorial at The Downs at Mohegan Sun Pocono, along with Bettors Wish — who dropped to No. 2 in this week's rankings — and No. 3 Workin Ona Mystery.
