Hanover Raceway has announced details of an upcoming open house, which is open to the public
.
The open house will be taking place Saturday, June 27 and people are encouraged to come and take pictures. The event wil take place from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.
Fans will get to go to four stations and learn about the rules of racing, anatomy of horses, training and driving horses.
Those in attendance will also get a chance to drive in a double sulky with a professional driver (weather and numbers permitting).
Hot dogs and pop will be free.
Live racing will be taking place that evening with a first race post time of 7:15 p.m. The Pepsi pace and a miniature horse race will be taking place.
