Rideau Carleton Raceway and the National Capital Region Harness Horse Association are reminding horsepeople that nominations for a trio of series for two-year-olds are due no later than Friday, July 2
.
The series in question are the Majestic Son Trotting Series (for two-year-old trotters), the Frisky Fillies Pacing Series (two-year-old pacing fillies) and the Boys of Summer Pacing Series (two-year-old pacing colts and geldings).
Each series will have three legs and a final. All three series will have the same dates.
• 1st leg - Monday, July 12
• 2nd leg - Monday, July 19
• 3rd leg - Monday, July 26
• Finals - Monday, August 2
Each of the series' first three legs will have a purse of $6,600. Each final will have a purse of $25,000 (added).
The nomination fee is $100.
