Officials with Vernon Downs would like to advise horsepeople of the amended draw schedule at the track for the upcoming week's races.
As usual, Friday (June 19) evening's races will be drawn on Tuesday (June 16) morning. However, Wednesday (June 17) morning will be a double draw for the Saturday (June 20) and Sunday (June 21) cards.
All three cards will clear the morning after they are drawn, with scratch times for the Saturday and Sunday programs, respectively, set for 10 a.m. and 12 noon on Thursday.
The track’s Father's Day program will feature both Empire Breeders Classic finals for three-year-old trotters (detention barn time is 8 p.m. on Saturday), along with New York Sire Stakes and Excelsior Series events for three-year-old pacing colts and geldings.
