The Woodbine Entertainment Group and Western Fair Raceway have released schedules for their
respective two-year-old qualifying races.
Two-year-old qualifying races will begin at Mohawk Racetrack on Saturday, June 13. Fans will have a chance to come out and see the future stars of the sport while enjoying free hot dogs and refreshments.
The two-year-old qualifying races get underway at 10:00 a.m. and will be hosted for four consecutive Saturdays with a fifth date also scheduled if necessary.
The complete schedule for the freshman qualifying races at Mohawk is listed below.
• Saturday, June 13
• Saturday, June 20
• Saturday, June 27
• Saturday, July 4
• Saturday, July 11 (if necessary)
If sufficient two-year-olds are entered for a Friday qualifying session, Dave Anderson of WEG confirmed with Trot Insider that those horses would be grouped with other two-year-olds.
Western Fair Raceway has added two-year-old qualifiers to the next three regularly-scheduled Friday morning qualifying sessions at 11:00 a.m.
The two-year-old qualifiers at Western Fair will be on June 5, 12 and 19.
